In Q2 2023, the leading carpooling and ridesharing apps in Portugal demonstrated diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users on a unified platform. Here’s a closer look at the performance metrics for the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Bolt: Request a Ride had a relatively stable quarter in terms of downloads, starting at around 13.8K in late March and fluctuating slightly to end at approximately 11.8K by the end of June. Active users saw a more positive trend, growing from 170K in the last week of March to nearly 188K by the end of June.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a consistent increase in active users, starting at about 249K and rising to 290K by the end of June. Weekly downloads for the app showed a gradual upward trend, beginning at 10.6K and reaching a peak of about 13.7K in mid-June.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver saw a steady rise in both downloads and active users. Downloads increased from around 1.7K at the end of March to over 2.3K by the end of June. Active users also grew from approximately 18.6K to 20.5K over the same period.
